After taking an on-foot look at the “Onyx” yesterday, we’re now getting our best look yet at the hotly anticipated Yeezy boost 380 “Calcite Glow”! first leaked all the way back in June, it bears a striking resemblance to last year’s “Alien” release but with a few notable differences that are definitely worth mentioning.

With a sock-like Primeknit upper, the “Calcite Glow” features a “Triple White” colour palette with tan mesh portions gracing the lateral and medial side panels. Not only does this offer the ultimate breathing experience, it also acts as the eyelets as well, where Kanye West’s brand new infinite lacing system can loop in and out seamlessly. While this new setup has been received pretty well by many sneakerheads so far, if you’re more of a traditionalist then adidas have added a conventional pair in the box as well.

Moving down below, the Yeezy sits atop a cream-hued boost midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets. In fact, some of you think it’s even better than the 350 V2. While this may seem a little farfetched, we aren’t really that surprised considering the heel on this model is a lot chunkier.

Of course, as its colourway name clearly states, the “Calcite Glow” illuminates as soon as you move into a darker environment. Unlike the “Hylte Glow” that’s rumoured to be dropping regionally later this year, the upper of this one glows as well.
