After taking an on foot look at the “Nylon Black” yesterday, we’re now getting a sneak preview of the upcoming sacai x Nike LDWaffle “Nylon White”, and it has got to be Chitose Abe’s cleanest Swoosh sneaker yet. While it retains the same critically acclaimed design that made waves earlier this year, there are a few tweaks here and there that are definitely worth mentioning.

Images courtesy of sneaker insider @solebyjc, the “Nylon White” is painted in a “Triple White” colour scheme with a few light grey accents scattered throughout. With a leather, nylon, and suede construction, the excellent palette allows every single detail to be seen as clearly as possible, including the stacked Swooshes, dual tongue, and doubled up midsole that we all know and love.

What’s interesting is that the laces have been completely revamped. instead of the usual flat style ones that we got from the previous six colourways, they’ve now been replaced with a pair of satin ribbons. These can obviously be changed out but it could be Abe’s way of introducing her androgynous aesthetic that can be seen in her past collections.
